GAMAS is a family of Acoustic Systems developed to meet the requirements of a wide range of ASW missions for maritime patrol fixed and rotary wing aircraft. The GAMAS family includes the Sonobuoy sub-system for the OTS-90 Sonic System which is operational on the NFH-90 helicopter.
New Generation Dual Use Obstacle Warning System
LOAM-V2 is a new generation Dual Use active Obstacle Warning System, specifically conceived for small and medium size helicopters being only 13kg weight and 22x25x29cm dimensions.
The system provides on-time detection and warning for small obstacles such as wires (down to 5mm diameter), poles, and structures.
Its design took advantage of the know-how and experience gained with the operational feedback of the LOAMâ„¢ operating on NH90, EH-101 and CH-47 helicopters.
The M42B1 equipment is derived from a family of MkIIA (MkXII + Mode 5) equipment developed under the NGIFF program in order to provide a state of the art IFF capability.
