4AP (4 Actions Plus, multi-function programmable fuze) is a state-of-the-art electronic fuze, programmable in the gun or by portable fuze setter. The design is optimized in order to have very high performance and reliability, and low cost.
The 1090 Extended Squitter Airborne Receiver is a space-efficient, cost-effective solution for the upgrading (retrofit/forward-fit) of aircraft with a full and Air Traffic Situational Awareness (ATSAW) capability according to the current air traffic management regulations.
Armed forces today confront rapidly evolving threats that demand superior Air Defence capabilities. In modern operational scenarios, these range from Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) to cruise and ballistic missiles. Staying ahead requires continuous innovation in Radar-system design, optimising power consumption, reducing detection and identification time, and maximising radiated energy efficiency.
Such dynamic environment calls for rapidly deployable, high-performance radars and command-and-control (C2) systems capable of supporting the broadest spectrum of demanding missions with uncompromising reliability. Robust, fully integrated defence architectures are vital to safeguard critical assets and ensure timely, decisive responses.
Leveraging decades of proven expertise in radar technology, Leonardo delivers a comprehensive portfolio of tailored, integrated air defence solutions spanning long- to short-range detection, engineered for both fixed installations and highly mobile platforms.
Leonardo new generation Air Traffic Centers are based on LedInSky architecture integrating actual and predicted traffic information from airside and landside sources, as well as field and communication infrastructures and interoperability services. They are compliant with SESAR prescriptions and grant seamless control, from ground A-SMGCS to En-Route, with full Safety-Nets and Fall-Back capabilities.
Reliable and redundant ground-to-air voice and data multi-mode communications systems, allowing the connection to package communication networks while reducing the operational costs. Pioneering AeroMACS broadband ground data link and exploiting the benefits of IP and VoIP in advanced radio network solutions for voice and data communications.
We design, manufacture, commission and support a complete line of ground-based radio navigation and landing aids, including category I through II/III Instrument Landing System, doppler and conventional VHF omni-directional range, and high and low power distance measuring equipment.
Worldwide leader in the development and production of integrated ATM/CNS systems for commercial aviation, we design and develop primary and secondary radar, meteo sensors, operational centres, based on distributed intelligence, multi-tracking systems, and aeronautical communication networks.
We develop training solutions able to execute Complex Synthetic Distributed Air Operations. Customers can benefit from an immersive, robust and safe environment, operating in real-time. The solution can be used for training as well as for testing and experimentation at strategic level.
Just think to the desired result, we develop and execute all the rest
The Aircraft Gateway Processor (AGP) is an Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) controller contained within a single, flight qualified, Line Replaceable Unit. It integrates federated ASE sensors and countermeasures to provide a combined threat picture and prioritised tactical response per the user-programmed Pre-Flight Message (PFM). The AGP is installed by Boeing as aircraft ‘A’-Kit on all new and remanufactured AH-64D/E Apache Longbow Helicopters.
The AMMS is a powerful computing system designed to provide processing features to rotary wing aircraft, including Navigation & Flight Management, Cockpit Display Management and Aircraft Plants Management.
Among its CNS solutions, the company provides the ANV-211 DME/P (Distance Measuring Equipment Interrogator/Precise), capable of receiving accurate distance information from DME/P Transponders and standard distance information from conventional DME/N Transponders. It meets the requirements specified in the
RTCA-DO/189.
The ANV-241A is an integrated, Multi-Mode Receiver which provides a world-wide precision navigation, approach and landing capability. It is a cost-effective, state-of-the-art solution for avionics upgrades and new installations.
The ANV-353 is a fully digital Doppler Velocity Sensor (DVP) that provides a continuous and accurate three axis velocity measurement for both fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft applications.
AST provides a unique training platform for first line avionics systems maintenance mechanics and technicians. Users are provided with an environment that simulates the cognitive processes involved with operating or maintaining any military fast jet or rotary wing aircraft such as Typhoon, F-16, Apache, Tornado or Hawk. AST is designed to enable students to familiarise themselves with aircraft systems and associated maintenance procedures and test equipment, in a classroom environment.
ATHENA MK2® is Leonardo’s advanced naval Combat Management System for a wide range of vessels.
It integrates surveillance, sensors, weapons, mission planning and tactical data links.
Designed for interoperability and operational efficiency, it reduces crew workload.
It is based on an open, cutting-edge hardware and software architecture.
