V-FIDES is a multi-role UUV, also acting as a ROV through optic fibre wire that can be configured with different payloads depending on the type of mission.
V-FIDES is developed to accomplish a variety of missions, such as: inspection of underwater structures like pipelines and underwater cables; exploration and mapping of the sea bottom; neutralization of threats such as SDV, midget, USV by using, for instance, the Black Scorpion mini-torpedo; automatic detection of MLOs (Mine Like Objects) and mine clearing operations.
